No POP at school! 

In keeping with the Ministry of Education Guidelines for healthy dietary choices in schools, pop, slurpees and sugar infused energy drinks are prohibited at A.D. Rundle. If a student is in possession of the above mentioned beverages, they will be confiscated.

Work Habits Rubric PDF Print E-mail

As outlined in the ‘Student Code of Conduct’, each student must take responsibility for his/her learning. The following rubric clarifies the classroom work habits and behavior expectations.

 

EXCELLENT (E)

Responsibility:             Demonstrates an industrious work ethic, ready to work and learn.

Cooperation:                A class leader exemplified by a high degree of positive and meaningful participation initiated by the student.  

Independence:             A keen and enthusiastic learner actively seeking out personal growth and learning opportunities.    

 

GOOD (G)

Responsibility:             All assignments turned in, on time for class, ready to work and learn.

Cooperation:                Works well with other students and teachers.

Independence:             Self-directed learner, takes appropriate initiative.

 

SATISFACTORY (S)

Responsibility:             Most assignments turned in, seldom late, usually ready to work and learn.

Cooperation:                Usually works well with other students and teachers.

Independence:             Often needs one-on-one attention.

 

NEEDS IMPROVEMENT (N)

Responsibility:             Most assignments missing, often late, frequently not ready to work and learn.

Cooperation:                Does not work well with other students or teachers.

Independence:             Needs one-one-one attention most of the time.
