LEADERSHIP 8/9

The Leadership program provides opportunities for grade 8 and 9 students to become meaningfully involved in both school and community activities. It is based on the concept that leadership can be developed through a variety of service opportunities. Students enrolled in this course will be given opportunities to organize, run, and analyze events in the school and community. For instance, Leadership students have organized dances, spirit weeks, the A.D. Rundle Haunted House, and much, much more. In addition, they will develop their own leadership and teamwork skills. The purpose of the course is for students to develop a life long appreciation of the importance of contributing to their communities and helping others.
